ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Emily may come to terms with David, Victoria

Revenge -Sunday, January 4 marks the return of “Revenge” to ABC, but you don’t have to wait that long to find out some of what is going to happen to our favorite residents of the Hamptons.

Specifically, we are talking in this article about Emily Thorne, and her journey to figure out who she is now in the wake of her ex-lover Daniel Grayson’s death. Is her father really who he says that he is? After wanting to believe the best for a while, part of the story moving forward may be about her accepting some of his flaws, but then using them to forge a tighter bond than she ever had beforehand. Speaking about this subject in a new chat with E! News, this is what executive producer Sunil Nayar had to say about the dynamic that may exist here between the two characters:

“Emily will have to learn what her father was really about and see the David-Victoria relationship for what it actually is, which is something that will help deepen her relationship with her father.”

The main adversary that Emily has to worry about in the second half of the season may not actually be Victoria at all; instead, she could very well end up worrying about Malcolm Black (Tommy Flanagan), a ruthless man with ties to David’s past during the time he was away. Given that Emily just killed his daughter (Courtney Ford) during the winter finale, don’t you think that he is going to have a few things to say about that?
