‘The Mentalist’ season 7, episode 3 video: See Morena Baccarin’s return now

Sunday night’s new episode of “The Mentalist” has the potential to be one of the most entertaining ones that we’ve seen so far this season, and one of the biggest reasons for that is simple: The chance to see more of Morena Baccarin in the picture.

The newest preview comes courtesy of TVLine, and it provides us with the opportunity to see how Baccarin’s Erica Flynn enters the picture again. She is a woman who is definitely dangerous, but also one who has a past with Patrick Jane. It’s possible that she is eager to explore this; if nothing else, she will be proving to be yet another worthy adversary all over again.

After Jane is ordered to go to Beruit to act as a courier for this case, Lisbon makes it clear that she has no problem taking part in this mission as well. Given her relationship status with Jane now, we imagine that part of the fun here is therefore going to be seeing what happens when these characters all intersect.Could Lisbon be sending a few cold stares Erica’s way? It is at least possible.

While there may be a few tense moments here and there through “Orange Blossom Ice Cream,” we cannot imagine under any circumstance seeing the end of Jane ans Lisbon as a couple anytime soon. The show has waited so long to make this jump in their relationship, and there would not be that much time to establish a new happy endgame for the characters.
