‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: A surprising problem for Megan Boone’s Liz

When you are someone with as many enemies as Elizabeth Keen on “The Blacklist,” you basically have to assume that there are going to be a variety of people who want you dead.

Sometimes, they can come from surprising places … even if it is realistic for the real world. This is going to be a theme on an upcoming episode. Remember that harbor master who unfortunately found himself in possession of Liz Keen’s secret? Well, after his death, Entertainment Weekly reports that his wife will file a missing persons report, and the name of Megan Boone’s character surfaces during the investigation.

As if it was not bad enough that Liz was keeping Tom prisoner, and that he ended up escaping, she now has to prioritize figuring out how in the world she is going to get the investigation steered away from her. After all, she still has other fish to fry … including Tom still being out there. Reddington told him to never make contact with her again, but who knows if this is a promise that he is really going to keep? Personally, we doubt it.

Maybe you will see the beginnings of this story play out when the show returns to NBC come Sunday, February 5 after the Super Bowl, but in all honesty, we feel like it is pretty doubtful it will happen then. Think of this as something more likely to take place down the road, when the show is not trying to recruit new fans.
