‘Switched at Birth’ season 4 spoilers: Premiere date, speculation on the future

Tonight, viewers of ABC Family had a great opportunity to peek into the future of one of the network’s most-popular shows in “Switched at Birth” … sort of. There was admittedly a big part of the episode Monday that is not going to hold much bearing on what happens moving forward.

Instead, you were meant to think of the holiday episode as a little bit more of something that stands on its own, and gives you a little bit of fun to get through some of the long waiting (we know that it is a long wait, after all).

So when is the next new episode of the show going to air? Well, we now have some sort of definitive answer to that: Tuesday, January 6. There are many more stories that lie ahead, and you are going to get a shot to see what is really going to happen to Bay now that she has made such a sacrifice … and also see what happens to some of the couples.

We would imagine that there is going to be a whole lot more when it comes to promotional material for the upcoming episodes pretty soon now. One of the only reasons that you may not have seen much when it comes to the show lately is because they’ve had to promote the Christmas Special. They don’t want to get ahead of themselves, or risk spoiling something that may or may not happen during this episode tonight.
