‘Doctor Who’ season 8 video: A quick kiss; Peter Capaldi takes questions

“Doctor Who” season 8 is already done filming, but that doesn’t mean the coverage stops between now and Christmas Day!

What we have for you below are a pair of new videos released by the BBC, and each one of them is endearing in its own way.

1. In this video, you can see series star Peter Capaldi take a few questions from fans that are stored in some sort of cheeky Tardis tin. He is certainly candid with his answers, even if, with the utmost honestly, most of these are not the most difficult questions to answer in the known world. At least the parties involved are still taking the time to do something like this! It’s better than the alternative, and that is having very little at all to discuss right now.

2. Meanwhile, the second video is the BBC Christmas teaser, and while there is only a second or two of “Doctor Who” footage in here, it is of a kiss that may have some in the ‘shipper community rather pleased. After all, this is something that has been hinted at, speculated, and hoped for by many over the course of quite a long period of time.

After the Christmas Special, be prepared for the entire process of the series to start itself all over again. Filming for the ninth season starts early next year, regardless of whether or not Jenna Coleman is still a part of the show (those rumors do persist). This season should premiere later next year.
