ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 9 preview: Emily VanCamp and a surprise guest

Is Emily Thorne about to get a new love in her life on “Revenge“? While that is not entirely clear at the moment, we can at least say that she is going to get a request from a certain someone on Sunday night’s new episode entitled “Intel.”

So who is it? Well, you almost surely saw this one coming: It’s Ben! Brian Hallisay’s character is going to show up at her door in the new episode, and he will try to persuade the oh-so-mysterious woman played by Emily VanCamp to go out with him. Unfortunately, there is no sign as to whether or not she said yes.

The more entertaining part of this sneak peek to us is more along the lines of who Emily has in the other room, and it is none other than some mysterious guy that she is torturing. We actually thought briefly after watching the last episode that maybe this was Ben and he had some sort of secret agenda, but that doesn’t quite seem to be the case. Then again, we could be wrong here, and maybe Ben does have some sort of secret that is not entirely clear while watching this.

The only thing that we know with the utmost certainty is that this is going to be a big episode for Emily, as she starts to get more and more information about what was really happening to her dad David Clarke in the time he was away. There is only one more episode after this one in 2014, and it is sure to be even more shocking.
