‘Dancing with the Stars’ 19: Mark Ballas, Sadie Robertson engage in Thanksgiving fun
Let it be known that the end of “Dancing with the Stars” does not mean remotely that you stop spending time with your celebrity partner. Mark Ballas proved that this week with a new Instagram post that was a part of the annual Thanksgiving dance battles between some of the pros and former pro-turned-judge Julianne Hough.
Basically, Mark went down for Thanksgiving to Louisiana, and spent a great deal of time with the entire Robertson family from “Duck Dynasty.” He has been working with Willie’s daughter Sadie the entire season, and obviously he built up a great relationship with the group for him to be invited back for some more rest and relaxation away from the spotlight of Hollywood.
Based on the size of some of the meals we’ve seen from the Robertsons, we can imagine that it only took Mark a few hours to get into a major turkey coma.
While it will be a good while before anyone starts to really get into casting for the 20th season of the show, we imagine that Mark will most likely be one of the pros again. With Cheryl Burke’s departure, he, Derek Hough, and Tony Dovolani are now three of the most-popular and longest-tenured dancers on the show. (Tony technically remains the one with the most overall seasons under his belt with Cheryl’s exit.) This new season will begin in March, and while Sadie will not be back, we certainly assume that she’ll be pulling for Mark every step of the way.
