‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: Is Emily Deschanel up for more?

Let’s face it: Anytime that you get this deep into a show’s run, every year there are going to be questions in regards to whether or not the end is near. So to see some of these same questions surfacing for “Bones” right now a decade into the should not be much of a shock at all.

With that being said, there is some comfort with this show for a number of reasons. For one, it is one of the few solid performers on a network full of duds right now. Also, its cast seems to be on board with however many seasons need to be produced.  Even though her contract may be up at the end of the season, Emily Deschanel tells TVLine that she has every intention in the world right now of continuing to play Brennan on the show:

“I’m up for it, yeah. I feel like there’s still more to tell … The network [still] has to pick it up, for one … And people have [expiring] contracts. But under certain circumstances, I would definitely consider [returning].”

Really, the only incentive that there would be right now to end “Bones” would be if the creators or the cast wanted to move on to do other things. They are paid extremely well for this gig, and at this point, they probably have a schedule orchestrated in a way that is as easy on them as possible.
