‘Glee’ season 6: Lea Michele, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer team up

The sixth season of “Glee” has been in production for quite a long time now, even though we haven’t quite had an opportunity to see a single scene for it yet. Most of that will be waiting until January 9, which is when the new season is going to premiere on Fox.

If nothing else, though, we can at least offer you a tiny Thanksgiving treat for you today in the form of the latest all about Amber Riley, and just who she is going to be working with at just after the midway point of the season. (This is around where they are right now at this point in production.)

While we have heard a little bit all about what Rachel Berry and Kurt Hummel will be up to this season, at least in that Rachel has returned to Lima after failing in Los Angeles with her pilot, there is not a whole lot of information out there when it comes to Mercedes’ story, whether you are talking about her romantic life, or the latest state in her music career. She had to make some difficult decisions last season when it comes to Sam, and we imagine that there are going to be many more of these coming up in the future.

If nothing else, expect all three of these characters to be extremely important to the show’s endgame. We know that these three and Kevin McHale (Artie) are going to be a huge part of the final season. The person we’re the most concerned about is Jenna Ushkowitz’s Tina, given that we have not heard much at all about her.
