‘Suits’ season 4 return date revealed; ‘Sirens’ season 2 premiere announced

SuitsUSA made a pair of long-waited announcements on Tuesday morning, but we’ll start here with the one that we’ve been hyping up the most over the past several weeks in “Suits.”

The Patrick J. Adams – Gabriel Macht drama will be returning come Wednesday, January 28 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, which we consider to be very much good news. While the show is basically being forced to sandwich itself into the February sweeps, the smart move was seemingly made here to keep it from being scheduled against “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” which ends a week earlier. That was much more of its competition than “Stalker,” “Nashville,” or “Chicago PD” will be on the major networks.

When “Suits” season 4 ended this past summer, we were left with quite the dramatic cliffhanger as Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) finally learned the truth about Mike (Adams) not really going to Harvard Law School. Due to that, he has made some pointed demands, and we would not be surprised if the firm is titled Pearson Specter Litt when the show returns. Ultimately, we’ll just have to wait and see, but filming for the season recently came to a close in Toronto.

Meanwhile, USA also announced today that another series in the comedy “Sirens” is going to premiere its second season a night earlier on Tuesday, January 27 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. This is a chance to get a little bit of laughter into your daily routine, and it may be even more appreciated to boot thanks solely to how badly many network comedies are doing at the moment.

We are going to have some further news pertaining to “Suits” moving forward, so be sure as always to check back to stay up-to-date. For now, one other suggestion we’d give you is to sign up if you want to have some additional TV stories sent to you via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: USA.)
