‘The Fosters’ season 2 spoilers: new Christmas Special promo includes ‘Switched at Birth’

At this given point in time, you really have to enjoy teasers in whatever form that they come for “The Fosters.” There is not much in the way of news coming out for the show, and there won’t be a whole lot more until the big Christmas Special finally comes on the air on Monday, December 8.

With all of this being said, we do have something very festive to share with you right now: The latest promo for the upcoming event! This one has some snarky Christmas comments, some sweet ones, and also plenty of “Switched at Birth.” This is a combo promo highlighting both of the shows before they come on ABC Family next month, and the hope here is simple: Trying to get you to enjoy both of the shows in a row.

What is fairly interesting is that the series is changing course a little bit early next year, and that includes moving around “Switched at Birth” while “The Fosters” stays on Monday night. We are someone who does frequently watch the ratings with a fine-toothed comb, so we are going to be interested in seeing if these changes mean a difference for either show.

For the time being, the only other thing that we can say right now is “stay tuned.” We’ll have some other updates when it comes to these shows as they come up, but above all else, we’ll tease here that we believe the purpose of both specials is to make you smile. We cannot see them being created for a more depressing endgame.
