‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8 spoilers: Sheldon and another Christmas special

To us, we will forever reference Sheldon’s Christmas gift from Penny as one of the big moments in the history of “The Big Bang Theory.” It was the DNA of Leonard Nimoy! If you have not had a chance to witness this scene yet, you are missing out on arguably one of the greatest things ever.

With this endorsement in mind, we are honestly somewhat surprised that Jim Parsons’ character on the show would be anything other than absolutely giddy over the prospect of another Christmas. Wouldn’t this have turned things around for him? We were at least hoping so, but as it turns out, this may not necessarily be the case.

The next time you see the show with a new episode on CBS, it will be on Thursday, December 11 with “The Clean Room Infiltration.” This will feature a celebration for Amy and Sheldon, but also a work crisis that the other guys are dealing with at the same time. CBS released the full synopsis this week, so be sure to take a look at that below:

“Leonard and Wolowitz turn to Raj for help in dealing with a work emergency. Also, Amy throws an authentic Victorian Christmas party, and Sheldon seeks revenge on her for making him celebrate the holidays.”

This is going to be a particularly fun chance to see just how much these characters have changed when it comes to Christmas via the early years, and it is a big shift from the “It’s a Wonderful Life” inspired hour that we had last year.
