‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 10 video: Jim Parsons, Mayim Bialik send off ‘Fun with Flags’

Admittedly, there is a part of us that really wishes that someday Jim Parsons would sit down record 200+ editions of “Fun with Flags” as Sheldon Cooper, but we know that this is extremely unlikely to ever happen.

The promo below for Thursday night’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” is all about Sheldon reaching the end of the road for his web series, which has an unknown number of viewers. There’s some great banter in here between Parsons and Mayim Bialik’s Amy, and that is really all that the clip gives away. At some point, LeVar Burton may be making another appearance during this segment, and John Ross Bowie will be coming back as Kripke at some point during this episode, as well.

Are there going to be some other stories that play out during this episode? Sure, but we understand why CBS is not rushing themselves to promote them right now. They are not nearly as flashy, and of course they want to spend some of their time really emphasizing the ones that will pull in some viewers. The show has lost a little bit of its steam commercially in season 8, though you could site declining viewers all over network TV as a reason why. More and more people are strictly moving to different measures of viewing content.

One final teaser when it comes to this episode: For those of you looking for some payoff to the way that Penny and her co-workers talk about Bernadette, you’re going to get it by the time this episode ends.
