‘The Good Wife’ season 6, episode 10 preview: Take a longer look at Cary’s trial, plea concerns

If you thought that this past episode of “The Good Wife” wasted a little bit too much time getting to some of the good stuff, we imagine that you may not feel that way at all about the one airing on CBS. This episode may be the biggest one of the entire season, given that the fate of Cary Agos hangs in the balance.

The biggest question going into Cary’s trial is this: Will he accept a shorter sentence in return for ratting out Bishop, or fight these charges to the very end? Just as with the majority of cases on this show going into the serious part of them, things do not look very good right now for Cary. He has to try and figure out how in the world he can escape this, and avoid leaving the firm with some major holes to fill.

While we want to say here that everything will be okay and that Cary is going to keep his job, we’re actually not even close to sure that he will. The good thing about “The Good Wife” is that it does not borrow from convention in the same way that many other TV shows do; it chooses instead to remain a mystery, and have you continually question just what could be coming up.

The only thing that we can really hope for right now when it comes to this episode is that it excites us tremendously, and has us more prepared than ever for what will be coming up with these characters in the second half of the season.
