‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 6, episode 8 preview: See Kensi, Deeks go undercover

NCIS Los AngelesWho doesn’t love a good undercover mission for Kensi and Deeks on “NCIS: Los Angeles“? While you may be used to seeing this to a certain extent, there is still something a little more meaningful about the sneak peek below.

On the surface, this looks like yet another fun, quirky scene about the two, complete with Daniela Ruah’s character teasing Eric Christian Olsen’s while he works undercover as a homeless man, while she goes for an approach where the only real disadvantage is having to consume an excess amount of coffee.

Through this scene, though, we get some further insight into Kensi’s days as a homeless person following the death of her father, and the two share a really nice moment where she tells him that while he may be able to fool quite a few people that are out there, he is still not entirely capable of fooling her. Ultimately, this scene is a reminder of how far the two have come over the years, and how it is so easy to appreciate all of this character growth in the small, subtle moments.

Of course, we would still like to get a scene at some point where these two take their relationship to another level, and who knows? Maybe this mission will be one of the ways that they get there. We’re going to continue to be patient, and hope for the best by the time we get to the end of this season.

Come back tomorrow night, since we’ll have a full review for this installment!
