‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 debate: On Zoe, Wade, and pregnancy possibilities
Over the past few months, we’ve published quite a few “Hart of Dixie” debate pieces asking a variety of different questions related to Zoe and Wade, but there is a certain obvious one that we have missed out on at times: The pregnancy that looms over the show.
Well before season 4 even got deep into production, The CW’s own programming head Mark Pedowitz made it pretty clear that Rachel Bilson’s pregnancy would be written into the show, and that does make for some great news for all those who love Zoe and Wade … hopefully. The truth here is that they are not even together. There is not even a guarantee that you are going to see the two be the parents for this kid.
In the event that there is a Zoe / Wade baby on the way, though, when could we find out? We feel like this is something that would first need to be touched on early in the season, at least in the form of the two characters getting together. Then, maybe a few episodes later Zoe finds out that she is pregnant.
The problem here comes in trying to pass the necessary time to get us to where the character would give birth within the span of one season. There are only ten episodes, and trying to get those to span a full nine months could be really challenging. That’s why it is not entirely clear if the baby will be born this season or not … but you hope to have that moment, if Zoe really is pregnant and this ends up being the final season.
What do you think: Should we see Zoe and Wade find out some big news early on in the season, or are we better off learning near the end? Share with a comment.

I would absolutely love it if Zoe and Wade had a child together in season 4!!!That would make it so epic and if it is the final season (sad face) then why not end it with a bang!!. In the last episode, have her just deliver her baby with Wade by her side and then they can have one big happy ending (sign)

I want more than 10 episodes….. this is my favorite show! There aren’t many shows like this anymore. Lets keep this one going a little longer.

I think its more than likely that they might do time jumps within the show. Although thats not certain.
