‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley return to high school
In the post below from Ian Somerhalder’s official Twitter account, and he claims that both he and Paul Wesley (Stefan) filmed a scene recently in the all-familiar Mystic Falls High School setting.
Over the past season and a half, the show has done its best to move away from the story of Mystic Falls High School, and that has been easy to do thanks to Elena finally graduating, and her and most of her friends heading over to Whitmore College. Thanks to them not even being able to go back to the town right now, that has made matters all the easier.
So why go back now? If we had to guess, we would say that this scene is coming up from the upcoming winter finale, given that part of the story is going to be a flashback back to the early days of the show, when Nina Dobrev’s character and the rest of the main cast were all students at the school. If nothing else, this is going to be a chance for Bonnie to actually work alongside most of her co-stars again, but there is unfortunately no guarantee that she is even going to be back alongside them by the time this story airs.
New episodes of “The Vampire Diaries” will continue on The CW for a few more weeks. Stay tuned for more!
