‘The X Factor’ UK notes: Stevi Ritchie, Simon Cowell, Lola Saunders, and Only the Young

We have to start this edition of “The X Factor” UK notes with breaking / rather hilarious news: The bromance between Simon Cowell and Stevi Ritchie continues!

During the show this past week, Stevi joked that he wanted to take Simon and One Direction member Louis Tomlinson out on the town in Colchester, which included per Simon’s request a visit to the local chain restaurant Harvester. Well, this actually happened! Sort of. Stevi and Simon did dine at one of the restaurant’s West London locations this week, which is still surprising given that this is not the typical place that the super-wealthy Simon would dine at. Sadly, there was no Tomlinson appearance to write about.

Stevi posted the following message about the meal on his Twitter account, which somehow makes him more endearing.

Of course, this was probably filmed to be a segment on this weekend’s show, so it was not just a complete gesture to party with Stevi. Still, it’s nice that Simon went along with it.

The latest rumors – It wouldn’t be a season of “The X Factor” without there being at least a few rumors out there that people are dating, right? It happens every year, and heck, there were even some made-up stories already about Stevi and Chloe Jasmine.

The press of course went nuts when Lola Saunders was spotted spending some time with Only the Young member Mickey Bromley. Did the two look a little flirty? We suppose so, but that’s not really any evidence of anything than that the two like to smile. We’ll at least monitor the story to see if anything comes of it.
