After everything was quiet on the “Glee” front for over a week, the floodgates opened on Tuesday, and all sorts of information poured out faster than the years during the winter finale.
Lindsay Lohan? – We’ll begin with the news that took pretty much everyone by storm the moment it was announced. According to TVLine, Lindsay Lohan is in final talks to appear on one of the last episodes of this season (set to air in May) as one of the judges at Nationals. It would likely just be a quick cameo, and Lindsay (who is playing herself) may not even have a speaking role.
It’s no surprise that “Glee” has dipped into the stunt-casting well here since some of their past judges have included Olivia Newton-John and Kathy Griffin — however, we remember how supposedly angry Lohan was when the show mocked her legal battles during Gwyneth Paltrow’s episode “The Substitute” last year. She’s apparently had a change of heart, and this move does prove she not only has a sense of humor, but she is ready to take on all sorts of work that comes her way.
A new promo – Finally, we have a full promo for the April 10 episode “Big Brother,” though it features Matt Bomer in a prominent role rather than Lohan. Bomer’s character is Blaine’s own brother Cooper Anderson, and we know he is some sort of actor based on some of the facial expressions he is teaching New Directions in the video below.
Unfortunately, there’s no mentioning of either the Quinn crisis or Rachel and Finn’s wedding in the promo; instead, it has a far more lighthearted tone.
