‘Duck Dynasty’ star Jep Robertson suffers seizure, already in recovery

There was a little bit of a scary incident that unfolded this past week in regards to “Duck Dynasty” star Jep Robertson, but at the end of the day, we are happy to report that the reality star is going to be okay.

While out on a deer hunt, the reality star and younger brother of Duck Commander guru Willie Robertson suffered a seizure, and as a result of that was promptly hospitalized. Somehow, this remained under wraps for a little while, but is becoming a larger story now. You can see the tweet from Jep at the bottom of this article for a little more information, and the family also put out the following statement:

“Jep was rushed to the hospital and received immediate treatment. He is doing well now, but is still in the hospital for additional tests and observation, and he is being treated with antibiotics to cover a range of possible infections believed to have caused the seizure. Our family would like to thank everyone for their love and support and ask that you keep Jep, Jessica and their children in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”

“Duck Dynasty” was starting to fall off of the pop-culture radar over the past few months, but is getting a little more conversation thanks to Sadie, Willie’s daughter who is competing on this season of “Dancing with the Stars” alongside Mark Ballas. So far, she has shown most of the skills necessary to come through with a win.
