‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 6 preview: Orange is the new cop
At the moment, there is a little bit of mystery surrounding when the next new episode of “Chicago PD” is going to air. What we can at least say for now is this: It is probably not going to be next week.
For the time being, NBC has scheduled a repeat airing of the drama, which we assume could be for a few reasons. The show may need some more time with its episodes, this could be a weaker night in ratings right before Halloween and most importantly, it is an episode count issue. “Law & Order: SVU” has an order that has two more episodes in it a year than “Chicago PD” does. Somewhere, there has to be a couple of weeks where this show lags behind an episode. (Update: As it turns out, “SVU” is not going to be new next week, either.)
While the network has yet to even release an official title or synopsis for this episode just yet, the promo that aired following the new one tonight held at least some clues. For one, we’re going to see an undercover mission that takes some of the officers behind bars in order to get information, and just as you would expect, this is a completely different world than the one you traditionally see for them.
The biggest thing to be aware of? In this world, there really are no rules that are completely governed, and the only thing that these cops can rely on is each other. Some of the harshest criminals at this point really could care less about laws.

Nbc did release a sypnosis and the episode title. Prison Ball is the title name. More Erin and Jay Scenes, hopefully they play scrabble soon. No crossovers from Fire
