‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Alicia prepares for a new rival

Good Wife -The Good Wife” has finally pushed forward with their story all about Alicia vying to be State’s Attorney, and that is going to lead to her taking on a variety of competition … including a surprise one played by “Frasier” alum David Hyde Pierce. He is a legal commentator, and decides that he wants to run for office the moment that there are some things in Chicago that he wants to fix. Is there some trouble for Alicia that comes with this? It sounds like it.

Per TVLine, “Message Discipline” is going to be the title of the November 2 episode that features Pierce, and you can look at the synopsis below to get some further insight into just what you can expect to see play out:

“While preparing his case against Cary, Finn discovers a potentially devastating piece of evidence, which could have ramifications for Alicia and Peter. Meanwhile, Eli becomes wary when a new prospective candidate emerges in the race for State’s Attorney.”

Ultimately, it appears that the stage is set for a heck of an interesting showdown, but this is really just going to be the beginning for whatever troubles lie with the two of them. After all, this seems like the sort of plot that will last far beyond this story.

Also, nice CBS brand synergy in the attached photo! Also, nice move making sure that you had the channel number right for the local affiliate in Chicago, and even the style for the station.
