‘Gotham’ episode 6 preview: ‘Spirit of the Goat’ brings up Harvey Bullock’s past

So far on “Gotham,” Harvey Bullock has to be considered, at least next to maybe Oswald Cobbleplot, one of the most interesting characters on the show. He is aggressive at times, cowardly at others, and above all, he is cautious. He’s a smart-enough guy to ultimately know when it is a good idea to get involved, and when it is best to back away and run in another direction.

Next week, we’re going to find out a whole lot more about Donal Logue’s character in the oddly-named “Spirit of the Goat,” which will bring in everything from villains to more of his past. Take a look at the synopsis below:

“When a killer begins targeting the first born of Gotham’s elite, Bullock is forced to confront traumatic memories from a nearly identical case he worked in the past. Later, Gordon is confronted by past decisions.”

The unfortunate thing is that this is not the most revealing handful of details ever released about an episode of this show, but after a sluggish start, we’re starting to like where the series is going. Tonight’s episode cut out most of the dead weight, and focused a little more instead on the quality characters, the comic-book book aspect of the show, and some of what we can look forward to hopefully on a weekly basis now.

Note that we’re taking the date of this episode from an older press release. Due to the World Series, it is possible that things could change. Stay tuned. For now, just enjoy the promo below and its creepy Halloween vibes.
