‘The X Factor’ UK results: Were Stereo Kicks, Chloe Jasmine, or Stephanie Nala eliminated?

The judges -Was there a big surprise when it comes to the results on “The X Factor” UK Sunday night? Going into the show, we definitely did not expect one. Right now, we’re in a position where there are clearly some weaker acts, and some that are going to be around until the very end.

We predicted before tonight that Stephanie Nala and Jake Quickenden were the likely exits, but we also did not rule out a departure from Jack Walton or Chloe Jasmine, which would be the biggest shame out of any of the exits.

Before we get to the results, how about the performances! We’ve heard live performances of “Bang Bang” and “Animals” on other shows before, so neither Jessie J nor Maroon 5 necessarily blew us away. With that being said, they were both very good, and each proved yet again why they are good acts to get on a results show.

Now, we turn to the results. We figured that Stephanie would be eliminated, but we were pretty confident that Jake would be in the sing-off. Instead, we had a showdown between Stereo Kicks and Chloe, who were both certainly deserving of going through to the next round. Yes, there is irony here that Simon’s prophecy to Cheryl about Stevi Ritchie was right.

When we knew that Chloe was against the boy band, we knew that she was in big trouble. Simon sees the dollar signs in the boys, and the truth is that the voters for this show aren’t going to really support a polarizing artist for the most part. Also, voters for the show favor boys. Just look at the fact that there has yet to be a single solo male artist in danger this season.

Anyhow, we don’t think Stereo Kicks or Chloe had a real shot to win, but we’ll just see if the boys can survive going forward another week.
