‘CSI’ season 15 spoilers: Bella Thorne on guest spot, superhero hopes

“CSI” is one of the most-successful shows out there, and it is one that also manages to routinely get young actors who come in with fan followings of their own. Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber are two of the actors who have been around on the show in the past, and now there’s another you can add to the list Sunday: Bella Thorne. The former “Shake It Off” star will be appearing in a role that revolves around a murder and bizarre experiment involving a high-school chemistry teacher.

While Thorne cannot exactly share every detail when it comes to her story right now, she did pass along the following short tease in a new TVLine interview on the subject:

“Even though she’s the captain of the swim team, literacy volunteer of the year and seems like she’s got it all together … there is a moment where you’ll see her break down and show her true colors … [My character’s issue] happens to a lot of girls. It’s a big issue we need to tackle, and I’m glad this show is doing it.”

In addition to this, Thorne claims that she is looking forward to hopefully doing some other gigs on film and TV very soon, and may even be interested in doing something in a superhero show like “The Flash.” As someone who is a routine advocate for more interesting female villains on TV, we would love to see that happen even more than we have already.
