‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 4 preview: Hook hopes for a new hand
On Sunday night’s new episode of “Once Upon a Time,” we’re going to see what could be a potentially compromising position for Captain Hook, and for a variety of different reasons.
First of all, we should start here by saying that we understand some of what Colin O’Donoghue’s character is feeling now. Of course, he wants to have a hand back! It cannot be all that much fun to be known simply for an accessory you’ve attached to your hand, and given that there is an option out there to get this hand back, especially before a big date with Emma Swan, you’re going to try to make that happen.
Unfortunately, there are two enormous problems, as evidenced in the sneak-peek video below, that Hook really should consider to the utmost before making a firm decision.
- Rumpelstiltskin is the one who can give him the hand back, and do you really want to put so much of your trust in this guy? We certainly would not. There’s something very dumb about blackmailing a guy who goes by the Dark One, especially when there is the history that there is between these two. Hook is hanging over him right now the truth about the Dagger, and this could come back to bite him.
- Rumple warns him that this hand is back from when Hook was more of a vile pirate and womanizer, and it may not make him the man that he wants. Maybe this is just Rumple posturing, but what if he’s right?
What we will say is that there are suddenly way more layers to this situation than we first thought there was going to be. Who knows what will happen next?
