‘Suits’ season 4 spoilers: Troian Bellisario coming over from ‘Pretty Little Liars’

There is some news out there that, quite frankly, would never surprise us in a million years. Troian Bellisario guest-starring on “Suits” is one of these such things. She and series star Patrick J. Adams are engaged, and this marks an opportunity to expand her resume while at the same time spend some time in Toronto with someone she cares about.

Per a press release, Bellisario will be cast as a woman from Mike’s past named Claire, who was connected to Mike stemming from his days as a bike messenger. In flashbacks, we will see how they started to date, but when Mike helped with one of her cases, things got a little rough for the two. Basically, the course of this relationship may be one of the reasons why he is in the position that he is at the start of the series.

Adams is also directing one of the upcoming “Suits” episodes, and while it is unclear if it will be the one featuring Troian, that would be a nice little twist to add to the occasion.

“Suits” season 4 does not have a formal return date just yet, but if we were to guess, we would say that the show will return early next year. It almost has to start by March if there is to be any gap at all between the start of season 4B and season 5, which has already been ordered by USA. Most likely, it will premiere next summer.
