ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 2 preview: Emily VanCamp’s next move in ‘Disclosure’
Are you ready to see where the story goes from here on “Revenge“? Tonight’s episode brought us the characters we love, but also a few interesting situations where Emily Throne showed that she is still struggling when it comes to letting go.
Next week’s episode is entitled “Disclosure,” and it is fair to say that Emily VanCamp’s character is going to still face an issue of identity. For some more on what to expect, take a look at the official synopsis below:
“Emily confronts former friends and a lifelong enemy in a desperate search for Victoria, while the fallen Queen of the Hamptons finds herself at the mercy of her own darkest secret.”
The promo below contains what may be a revelation and a moment many have been waiting to see: Emily finally telling Charlotte the truth about who she is, at least in that the two are sisters. Isn’t that a step in the right direction? If nothing else, it at least makes things so much more complicated for the two, given the Charlotte has been running around with drugs and holding grudges.
While all of this is happening, what will unfold between Victoria and David Clarke? Given this guy has been alive this entire time, we imagine that he has to have some very specific reason for turning up now. We also still have a difficult time believing that Conrad Grayson is actually dead, mostly because this is “Revenge.” Nobody ever seems to die on this show most of the time.

I actually would love for Conrad to not be dead. Without him the show is missing something. I want for Charlotte to be back to normal. Yes, she was put through the ringer last season BUT did you see the crazy look in her eyes when she was with Carl? She looked like a psycho. And I agree with the comment below. I want David Clarke to have some depth and more dimensions that will really make Emily question if what she did was right?

What I’d like to see on Revenge is for Charlotte to act more like a Clarke than a Grayson. I’m tired of simultaneously rooting for her and hating her. Let the good in her prevail over the evil.
I’d also like David Clarke’s character to be a bit more complex than the innocent patsy who was guilty only of falling for the wrong woman.
And I’d like for Daniel to choose Emily as an ally over Victoria once and for all.

I agree with you in so many ways.
Ever since Declan’s death, Charlotte was kind of useless up until her kidnapping. I’m hoping Emily’s revelation in the promo is not a fantasy sequence (though I doubt it, seeing as Charlotte appears to be contemplating suicide in the promo). For better or worse, I want Charlotte to know the truth about her sister.
I’m thinking David Clarke is going to be more complex, judging by what has been shown.
It would serve Victoria right if Daniel chose Emily as an ally.
Here’s to hoping next Sunday’s episode is good. :]

i agree Charlotte talks so much about her father (david clarke) and wanting to be a clarke so d=bad but she is more of a grayson than a clarke after what conrad did to her real father wow she so stupid
