‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Big story ahead for Regina, Emma

We understand that “Once Upon a Time” has spent most of its time this summer promoting “Frozen,” and for those of you who really care about other characters first and foremost, that may be fairly frustrating.

However, this is what this article is for! We are here primarily to tease something coming up for fans of Regina and Emma. In particular, there will be an episode coming up where their dynamic following Maid Marian’s arrival to Storybrooke is really examined. It’s clear that Regina is going to be angry, but has she learned to contain that rage? That’s what we are looking to see now.

Speaking to TVLine on the subject of what to expect next for these two, executive producer Edward Kitsis had the following to say:

“We definitely feel like we are paying attention to the three seasons leading up to this, in terms of where they were, where they’ve been and where they’re going. That that’s been a really rich area to dive in to, and we’re excited for the audience to see that.”

The support that fans have for these two characters in particular may be one of the most unexpected surprises of the series, given you never know who fans are going to gravitate more towards in terms of screen time, or the relationship that one has with the other. We hope that they can work this out, but part of the fun with this show is that there’s always the feeling that things could fall apart at any moment.
