‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 spoilers: Who’s getting a new partner?

Are you ready to see something a little different on “Beauty and the Beast” season 3? Well, what we can tell you is that Cat is going to be undergoing at least one change midway through the show’s upcoming season: A possible new partner on the force.

According to a new report coming in now from TVLine, the show is going to introduce the character of Detective Harris. He is described as a cop who is relatively new to the force, and also happens to be in his twenties. He will first turn up around episode 5, which means that by this point, Kristin Kreuk’s character may not be working with Tess for the time being. (Yes, that thought alone makes us somewhat sad.)

Hopefully, this is going to be just some temporary bump in the road as far as the show goes. We love the Tess character, and the last thing we want is to see her separated from Cat professionally for a long period of time … even if she does have some other cool stuff to occupy her time right now courtesy of her relationship with JT.

Now, if only this news could be made all the more exciting courtesy of finding out when “Beauty and the Beast” will return for another season … but that is still up in the air. If we were to guess, though, we would say that the show will come back on the air in the early spring, though we also would not be shocked if The CW made the move to delay it for a little while, and bring the show back for the summer.
