‘Better Call Saul’ spoilers: Can Bob Odenkirk get an ‘amen’?

Better Call Saul season 1If you are a huge fan of all things “Breaking Bad,” including the upcoming “Better Call Saul,” then what we have for you below is ultimately a case of good news and bad news.

The good news here is that we have some new footage of Saul a.k.a. Jimmy McGill (played by Bob Odenkirk), asking almost for an “amen” at court. The bad news is pretty simple: That is literally all the footage you get. This video may claim that it is ten seconds long, but it’s really not. A good percentage of it is just reminding you that the show will premiere on AMC in February.

With what we know about the scheduling right now, there are really just two options that the network could use for the show:

  1. Air the show as a part of a lineup with “The Walking Dead.” They could air it in between the zombie drama and “Talking Dead,” but we would almost prefer it coming on at 8:00, before the other two shows.
  2. Air on a different night, and see if AMC can take ownership of something other than Sundays. We feel like there could be something good on Tuesday or Thursday for them, or they could do Saturdays again given that this worked well for “Hell on Wheels.” (Still, we think that is unlikely.)

Just in case you haven’t heard much about “Better Call Saul” as a show yet, what you should be aware of is that it is a prequel to “Breaking Bad,” but could also contain footage of Saul’s present and future.
