‘Person of Interest’ season 4 spoilers: Is another character going to die?

The latest -Are we about to go down a very dark (and very familiar) road yet again on “Person of Interest“? It was only last season when the show delivered quite a shock and killed off Carter (Taraji P. Henson) pretty early on, and before things really started to get insane with Samaritan and the team going on the run.

Well, it’s looking very possible like that could happen again, at least based on the tweet below. Greg Plageman, Jonathan Nolan, and more related to the CBS show were giving an interview for the Nerdist Writers Panel podcast last night at Meltdown Comics, and this was one of many notable comments being made.

Of course, we will start off here by saying that we don’t love seeing characters on the show killed off. Who does want to see that? We can’t really think of anyone. However, at the same time, this may make “Person of Interest” stand out beyond some of the other programs on CBS. The only time you ever seen the casts of many of those shows, such as “NCIS” or “Criminal Minds,” change is when either the network mandates that they cut costs, or an actor decides that they want to depart. That’s not the case here. There are deaths that are written in for the sake of moving the story along, and also to keep the fans on their toes.

With that being said, our face would genuinely fall off if the show kills off either Reese or Finch. We feel like those two guys are almost unkillable if the show wants to keep its viewers happy. However, we don’t know if we could say the same about anyone else. While Shaw and Root have become valuable parts of the team, they weren’t there in the beginning.

What do you think could happen on the fourth season, and do you think that a major character really could die? Let us know in the comments, and head over here in the event you want to score some other big TV updates right now via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
