NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 3 spoilers: The premiere title revealed!

Hannibal -Who cares if you may not see more of “Hannibal” until the late spring? We’ve still got a first look for you right now at the title for the season 3 premiere!

In the post on Twitter below via show creator / resident genius Bryan Fuller, you can see that the first episode back, written by Fuller and Steve Lightfoot (responsible for so many big moments in the season 2 finale), carries with it the title of “Antipasto.” If we are being honest, we’ll admit that we’ve never been the biggest fan of the show’s food titles. They do make sense thematically, but it’s really hard when discussing the episodes with your friends to pinpoint a specific event from a specific episode. It’s the same problem that we have with “24.” At least with this one, you get something that feels almost like an appetizer, which is appropriate since the story is just starting back. Plus, it gives us a clue that we are going more into Italian cuisine this year after spending last year with a Japanese theme.

For those who have not heard, there will be a sizable time jump between the end of last season, and the start of this one. Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) will continue to be on the hunt to find Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen), and it will take him overseas to Europe. Most of the early episodes will follow this theme, and you may not even see much of the BAU.

What do you think about the title, and do you have any particular expectations for the “Hannibal” premiere? Share in the comments now, and head over here to get some further scoop about Bidelia and much more!
