‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: First look at Ducky flashback episode

NCIS -For several weeks now, you have most likely been hearing about an upcoming episode of “NCIS” that will take you back to the origins of the Ducky character, including here he came from, and how some decisions from his past ultimately shaped him becoming such a valuable part of the team in Washington.

Now, we have some further details all about what you can expect from this October 7 installment. The title is “So It Goes,” and he and Bishop will be taking a trip overseas in order to figure out what happened to a former childhood friend of his. Take a look at the synopsis below:

“When an NCIS case reveals a connection to Ducky’s estranged childhood best friend, he and Special Agent Bishop travel to London for interviews with family and co-workers of his friend. While there, Ducky finds himself reminiscing about the choices he made in his past and the subsequent impact they had on his adult life.”

Adam Campbell will guest-star here as a young version of the character, and we hope that this satisfies those who have been hoping for an episode of this variety for a long time. Much of the early portion of “NCIS” season 12 does seem to be geared towards these individual stories, where every year we learn a few new things about some select members of the team. When you have a full 22 episodes to work with a year, it does allow for some opportunities to have some individual storylines.
