‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Speculating on ‘Draw Back Your Bow’
We’re back yet again to debate an “Arrow” episode title, and this one seems to be tied directly into the name of the show. It’s not often that you see that!
The unfortunate part of “Draw Back Your Bow,” though, is that this is hardly the most revealing name for an episode in the world. It was first teased in a post on Twitter by executive producer Marc Guggenheim, who was coy about most of the other aspects of it. What could it be referring to? Our theory is that it could tie into training somehow, whether we are talking about Oliver (Stephen Amell) helping Roy Harper (Colton Haynes), or maybe even Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). We know that there are many character-specific stories coming up, but we have yet to hear about one that is geared specifically towards Laurel. She is, after all, still one of the show’s primary characters.
For those who have missed them, here is the rundown of all of the confirmed episodes to come:
- 3×01 – “The Calm”
- 3×02 – “Sara”
- 3×03 – “Corto Maltese” (a Diggle-centric episode)
- 3×04 – “The Magician” (an episode about Malcolm Merlyn and Thea)
- 3×05 – “The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak”
- 3×06 – “Guilty” (which may be about Roy Harper)
- 3×07 – “Draw Back Your Bow”
We are very excited to see how this story builds and evolves moving into the episodes ahead, largely because this season has so much hype, and is bringing in so many characters from Ted Grant to Ray Palmer to Ra’s al Ghul. The show premieres on Wednesday, October 8, so we will not be waiting too much longer.
