‘Chicago Fire’ season 3 spoilers: How about some lighter scoop?

Over the past couple of days, you have probably seen quite a bit in the way of grim information regarding the “Chicago Fire” season 3 premiere. After all, a character known by many fans is going to be dead by the end of it.

So who is this character going to be? You’ll have to wait until the episode airs to find that out, and for this article, we are actually taking a moment to remind you that there are some other, more lighthearted things that will be coming up. We have to stop for a minute and say that the last thing that we ever expected to be doing today was writing an article about this show and Zumba, yet here we are doing that very thing.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Matt Olmstead said the following about a story that was inspired by actor Joe Minoso’s real-life Zumba routines:

“It’s revealed—and it’s a shocker—that Joe Cruz is a Zumba instructor this season, and jaws drop much to his chagrin because he thought he was keeping a lid on it and no one would find out. But they find out.”

While this will probably by no means help us to get over whatever level of sadness that we are feeling over the loss of a character, the story still sounds pretty fun. Maybe it will at least be an excuse for a quick smile whenever this ends up airing moving forward.
