‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Will Cody and Derrick take each other to final 2?

The only interesting game of chicken that we have going on in “Big Brother 16” right now is pretty simple: Whether or not we are going to see either Derrick or Cody actually make a move that results in the other not being in the finals with them.

For Cody, we’ve never doubted that he will take Derrick. The undercover cop has done a good job convincing him over time that he really does have a good shot of winning in the end, even though he really doesn’t.

For Derrick, meanwhile, we’ve felt that it was a much more interesting debate. He probably feels like he can beat either one, and he really can. It’s simply a matter of who he wants to tick off more, and now that Victoria knows about the Hitmen, he may have a little bit more of an out there than he would with Cody. The two guys talked this afternoon, and Derrick 100% promised Cody that the two would go to the end together. They also reasserted that Victoria really did not deserve to go as far as she has in this game, which is a pretty odd statement to make given that they could have taken this placement away from her at any point over the past few weeks.

We believe that the second part of the final Head of Household Competition is tonight (that’s what Derrick said yesterday), but they may be waiting until later in order for the weather to cool off a little. After all, it has been a scorching week in Southern California, and the house is not in one of the more forgiving parts of the Los Angeles area.
