‘America’s Got Talent’ finale to feature Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Hudson, Pitbull in finale

America's Got Talent -America’s Got Talent” loves bringing out some big names for their finales, and we now have a better idea of just who will be turning up as the latest season comes to a close next weekend.

NBC confirmed today the following four people, who will be on hand to perform something as we eagerly await the selection of the winner. Note that our major complaint here right now is that there are no acts other than singers currently booked. Maybe that will change in the future.

Jennifer Hudson – At least J-Hud is someone with a background on these sort of shows. She will be appearing to perform “It’s Your World” off of her upcoming album.

Ed Sheeran – Meanwhile, the British singing sensation will perform “Don’t,” one of his latest singles. We have no complaint about any show that brings on Ed.

Pitbull – He will sing “Fireball” accompanied by the Rockettes, which may make this performance a little more interesting. We respect Pitfull for his accomplishments, but his performances tend to blend together.

Lenny Kravitz – The rocker will perform “The Chamber” of off his upcoming album “Strut,” and we’re just pleased to see Lenny doing some appearances again.

Note that it is also possible that we could end up seeing Train at the finale, as well, but the press release was not entirely clear on the details there.

The six remaining acts, per our review last night, singers Miguel Dakota, Quintavious Jackson, and Emily West, band Sons of Serendip, magician Mat Franco, and acrobatic team AcroArmy. Our personal feeling is that the latter two acts should be the favorites, mostly because there is no other place you can see them. To a certain extent, the same goes for the band.
