‘Big Brother 16’ review: What did you think about the Team America ‘play’?

We’re not going to lie: The majority of Wednesday night’s “Big Brother 16” episode was depressing. Donny lost the Veto, was ganged up on, and then had to sit around and pander about “Scorpion.” At least he did get some candy!

The one thing that was the most interesting to us was the downfall of Frankie as a likable character on the show. He’s been very unlikable on the feeds even before his “social media mogul” admission, but mostly, the show has tried to still paint him as this likable Team America ambassador. Not tonight! Him dismissing the idea of keeping Donny while putting on makeup was so conceited we don’t know how his head fits in his house.

Frankie basically forced everyone into doing a play, and it was for the most part awful. Frankie’s Joey was awful, and really the only person we ironically found funny was Donny doing Devin. Donny seemed to be okay in the Diary Room with losing the mission, so we’re fine now to campaign for America to say “no” to this one. The only thing we were conflicted about previously was that we didn’t want to deprive the guy of losing $5,000 that he could use in his life. It’s too bad we can’t give him the $10k of the other two guys, as well.

Elsewhere, we saw Victoria get sick, Derrick lie more in the Diary Room to America about his intentions, and a tiny moment where you may have thought Cody was actually going to backdoor Frankie and make a big move. Not so fast.
