ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and a ‘Devious Maids’ star

According to a new report now from TV Guide, “Devious Maids” actress Rebecca Wisocky is set to guest-star on “Clear and Present Danger,” which is the third episode of the season and one that appears to be bringing the show back somewhat to what it is known for: Cases that are wrapped up within an hour. She plays the role of Dr. Elena Sarkov, a brilliant researcher who is called upon to help after a pool shark is found dead under very mysterious circumstances.
If we were to play detective ourselves here, we would imagine that this could all be tied to the claims that there is an episode this season where the murderer seems to have been invisible. This is the sort of thing that should lead to all sorts of Nathan Fillion fun, and Stana Katic having to play the grounded one, constantly reeling him in from outlandish theories. Hopefully, Rick is okay enough after the shocking events of the first two episodes to be the same guy we all know and love.
“Clear and Present Danger” will air on Monday, October 13 pending any last-minute changes, and for a good time, we’d put it #1 on the episodes we are most looking forward to right now. We’re sure that the premiere will be much more dramatic and stuffed full of revelations, but we don’t always need those in order to really enjoy an hour of “Castle.” Sometimes, a little bit of silliness is enough for us.
