‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: Possibilities for Nathaniel Buzolic’s Kol

Originals -It’s pretty clear that fans of “The Originals” love Kol. Just from his time on “The Vampire Diaries” alone, this guy established himself quickly as one of the most unpredictable and notorious characters. Unfortunately, he didn’t really get to live long enough to make the impact that many wanted.

So what will change for “The Originals” season 2? You’ve probably already seen some sort of proof that the character is back, and that is worth celebrating alone! However, how long will he be back for? That is something Julie Plec discussed further in a chat with Entertainment Weekly, where it was clear that the one confirmed Nathaniel Buzolic sighting will be in a flashback in the second episode. What about seeing him in the present? She said the following:

“We’ll have to see just how crafty Esther was when she was yanking people over from the other side.”

So that is not a firm denial, and if Esther and Mikael can come back from the dead, it is pretty easy to see that Kol could, as well. Buzolic may also now be available given that “Supernatural: Bloodlines” failed to make it to series, and with Claire Holt largely gone from the show now save for an appearance here and there, this could be a great way to get a little more Original flavor into a show technically called “The Originals.”
