‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 11 review: ‘Ravenswood’ revelations; Melissa’s secret

Who -All summer, “Pretty Little Liars” has been building up to something very dramatic, and it has felt like Tanner and the police are very much involved with it.

Tonight, some of those stories started coming to a head … and we also found out much more about Caleb and “Ravenswood.” He has apparently started to see Miranda in dream form, and is questioning whether or not he did the right thing for her at all. Even though not all of this made sense to viewers of this show and this show alone, we do have to celebrate the show at least trying to tie up that story rather than forgetting about it.

Meanwhile, Spencer continuously analyzed a goodbye video from Melissa Hastings, where we learned that she was responsible for burying a body … Bethany Young? However, she did so thinking that she was covering up something terrible that Spencer did, which was not actually the case.

In the end, though, the big question is what happens when the police start to find out more information about what actually happened in New York. This is where the cliffhanger lies going into next week, and that has us so excited that we’re not really paying too much attention to the other stories right now … including whether or not Mona and Mike will stay together, and if Paige and Emily will get it together. Maybe these will be more important stories next week.

For now, we were at least happy that tonight finally solved some mysteries for us, and got rid of Ali for the time being, given that we didn’t really need her this time. Grade: B+.
