‘CSI’ season 15: Patricia Arquette to promote ‘CSI: Cyber’ further in new episode

“CSI: Cyber” will be coming on the air this coming spring, but you are not going to have to wait that long in order to see Patricia Arquette as Special Agent Avery Ryan again.

As first confirmed by Entertainment Weekly, Arquette will appear on the second episode of “CSI” season 15 as her character, who helps to run the FBI Cyber Crimes Division. This clearly means that the show is venturing into that territory again, and can you really blame them? We found that whole story last time to be entertaining, and we’re more than fine to see where she fits into the story this time.

What we are also interested in seeing is whether or not fans take to the idea of battling cyber-crime enough for it to be a full-fledged series. Without a doubt there is enough of this that happens in the real world in order for it to be a show, but the large question here is how you manage to make a series of stories entertaining when you are effectively watching someone take on the same sort of battles time and time again.

Then again, there is a much higher potential for this to be an intellectual show, and one that cannot really rely on the same tools and tricks that other cop series have over the years in order to get some of their desired effects.

The season premiere of “CSI” proper will come in September to CBS. It is amazing that the show has not only lasted this long, but will be bringing its fourth spin-off to the air soon.
