‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Will Jennifer Morrison’s Emma finally get her own place?

Emma -While Emma Swan on “Once Upon a Time” may consider Storybrooke to be her home, there is also a part of her living situation right now that feels almost straight out of a sitcom. After all, she has been living with her parents with her son, even though her parents look the same age as her. These parents also have another child now, and she has a boyfriend in Captain Hook who will surely be around more.

Luckily, you can expect some changes to come early in this department for season. Co-creator Edward Kitsis tells TVLine that “Emma needs her own place” at some point in the near future, and he’d like to see that happen. Meanwhile, fellow co-creator Adam Horowitz adds that “the domestic situation of the Charmings and Emma and Henry and Regina does fit into the early episodes.”

With all of this being said, there’s another interesting question we have now if this story is to blossom on the show: What money is Emma going to use to even pick up her own place? Think about that for a minute or two. This is not a woman who has a whole lot of employment at the moment; maybe she can find a way to sublet that apartment she has in New York. One of the biggest bits of TV magic for this show is how in the world she was able to afford that incredible place to begin with.

The new season of “Once Upon a Time” will kick off come Sunday, September 28, so hopefully there will be some further answers before then.
