‘NCIS’ season 12 spoilers: Will Margo Harshman be back as Delilah

Throughout the end of “NCIS” season 11, we made it fairly clear that we were big fans of Delilah. We actually would have been very thrilled to see her as a series regular, givne that she had an interesting story that unfolded throughout the season, and we enjoyed the relationship that she had with McGee.

Unfortunately, the show wrote her out with the oh-so-convenient “she took a job elsewhere” line, and we haven’t seen her ever since. The only solace that we can offer you? That she won’t be forgotten during season 12. According to TVLine, Delilah is mentioned several times through the first few episodes, though Margo Harshman has not returned to film any guest spots as of this writing.

Given that the show did not end the McGee / Delilah relationship completely, and they are still mentioning her, it does feel to us like there are plans to use the character again. It may only be a one-episode guest stint, but that is better than nothing to get a little bit more of McGee’s story is see how she is continuing to fare following that horrific explosion.

Granted, we’d still be more than pleased if the show found a way to bring her back and didn’t let go of her again. We know that the ratings were down for the latter part of season 11, but with it being the most-watched show in the world, why not pay the money to add to the cast?
