‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 spoilers: What previous guest star will be back?

With “Hart of Dixie” season 4 already in production, we are getting many an opportunity right now to learn about at least some characters who will be a part of key storylines. Also, we’re getting to learn about some who will be coming back!

In a post on Twitter, Maree Cheatham confirmed that she will be returning to the CW series for the first two episodes of the season in the role of Grandma Bettie Breeland. This is in continuation to the arc that she had on the show throughout season 3 in the role, where she brought in some more history for Lemon’s family along with the Belles. Her confirmation here basically means that we have further chances to tell great stories when it comes to the entire Breeland family. (Hooray to that!)

Cheatham most-recently wrapped up her time on Nickelodeon’s “Sam & Cat” as Nona, as the show was officially ended for a variety of different reasons.

Unfortunately, we still do not know just when you will see the new season premiere, even if early 2015 is a good guess. The season will only be 10 episodes long to accommodate Rachel Bilson’s pregnancy, and then after this round of episodes airs, we will see what happens when it comes to the show’s future. Just because this is a shorter order does not mean that the plan is for this to be the final season.
