‘White Collar’ season 6 spoilers: Filming wraps for Matt Bomer, cast

WhatYou likely knew that this was coming this week, but it doesn’t make it any easier to hear now: After six seasons on the air, the journey for “White Collar” is finally over.

This news was confirmed by multiple cast members on Twitter, with Matt Bomer of course being one of the last to wrap given that he is in the bulk of the show’s scenes. This is a sad day, given that this has been a fan favorite on USA for many years. Then again, there should also just be a reasonable amount of excitement that it lasted this long in the first place. Six seasons is no easy feat for a show these days, especially one on cable. This puts the show alongside other USA greats like “Monk,” “Psych,” and “Burn Notice,” which all made it past five years on the air.

As for how the series will end, all we can say is that the goal was to make it satisfying for almost everyone involved, given that the cast had a hand in coming up with ideas. We don’t expect some sort of “happily ever after” ending where everything is tied together nearly, but we at least hope for some sort of sign that Neal Caffrey can move on with his life and be happy. We don’t think someone like him can “be happy” when he is still forced into doing something to escape being in prison. The cliffhanger last season was basically that he was too good at his job to even consider letting go.

Are you bummed that “White Collar” is ending, and what is one of your favorite memories of the show? Share now in the comments, and head over here if you want some further news on all we cover right now.
