‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Videos and Head of Household speculation

Usually we try not to post too many “Big Brother 16” live feed updates right before the start of a live show, but this one is pretty darn important for one major reason: How the next Head of Household is determined. (Update: Thanks to tonight’s show, it looks to be something that keeps the twist alive.)

The biggest thing to mention here (at least in the eyes of Caleb) are the words “Head of Household” … not “Heads of Household.” Just after 3:50 p.m. Big Brother Time, there was a message on the video wall with HoH logo and also “Time to get loopy.” Caleb took this to mean that the Battle of the Block twist may be over, and while we want to agree with him, we don’t really see it as proof. The logo that we’ve seen on the show, even this season, has always just said “Head of Household” on it. Therefore, you can’t read too much into that.

However, it is easier to speculate over the fact that the video wall quickly started showing the houseguests videos of themselves, which definitely looks like it’ll be implemented into a future challenge. So much for the wires symbolizing an endurance competition outside, which was one of our big theories from earlier in the week. This will probably be some sort of memory Q&A, and almost everyone is already studying here intensely. If this is the end of the Battle of the Block twist and we’re going into this, it would be an interesting move. While endurance tends to favor smaller, lighter contestants, anyone can theoretically win this sort of challenge. There’s a little luck involved, but if you are a good enough student, you can at least get pretty far in it.
