‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 spoilers: Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal on story ahead

Sons of Anarchy -We promised early in the day that we would have more in the way of “Sons of Anarchy” scoop from the TCA Summer Press Tour, and here some of it is courtesy of two of the show’s major cast members: Charlie Hunnam and Katey Sagal.

These two are definitely going to be the characters with the most explaining to do and feelings to work through, especially when you consider the fact that Jax has lost his wife Tara, and it is all because Gemma literally put a fork in her. Jax doesn’t know that, but Humman claims that he is going to be suffering emotionally nonetheless:

“He’s obviously very sad and vulnerable and kind of broken, but there’s a huge amount of vengeance and anger in his heart … The way all of that is processing, at least in the very beginning, is [beginning now] to have a numbing effect. He knows what he wants to do, and that’s where all of his energy is going to go, but he can’t get away from the fact that the love of his life has been taken from him.”

Meanwhile, Sagal promised that Gemma is not going to deviate much from her “anything I can do to survive” mentalist that she has formulated so far on the show:

“What’s coming out of her mouth and what’s going on in her head are two different things. She’s made adjustments to the situation based on her basic instinct, which is to survive and keep her family together. She is still all about that.”

Kurt Sutter told the reporters in attendance that while there is an ending to the series in mind, things are still changing as production goes along. With a show that does feature motorcycles so prominently, it does feel appropriate that it really is about the journey much of the time with this series.
