‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: Do you want to know how he got those scars?

The Blacklist logo any seasonNo, Raymond Reddington is not the Joker, but we like to think that he’s close enough. At the end of “The Blacklist” season 1, James Spader’s character was subject to one of the show’s biggest reveals as it certainly made it look as though he was there in the infamous fire.

Does this prove he’s Liz Keen’s father, or does it even prove anything when it comes to the event at all? We suppose that it could be “coincidental,” but that would just be maddening. The one thing that would make this the most interesting, at least to us, is if Liz was not Red’s daughter, but there was still an interesting connection between them.

For all of those who are feeling frustrated and in desperate need of answers, take solace in the fact that there are going to be some coming up in the near future. At TCA this past week, the insinuation was that these scars were there to signify that there is a great story to come, which will be revealed in this second season. It’s not meant to be viewed as any sort of bona fide proof that Liz and Red are related.

The show will be in production most of the rest of the summer / fall, and it has been a busy time for Spader in particular. He has also been doing motion-capture work for Marvel’s “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” which is poised to be one of the biggest movies in history just like the first one shattered opening-week attendance records.

What is it that you want to see on season 2 of “The Blacklist” the most right now? Share in the comments.
